Skyway Precision, Inc. Skyway Precision Inc., a family-based company headquartered in Plymouth, MI, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Estimator to join our growing team. As a key contributor to our manufacturing operations, you will play a vital role in evaluating production costs, preparing accurate estimates, and supporting strategic decision-making across departments.
What Youll Do:
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and related data to prepare cost estimates for machining and manufacturing projects. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing. Monitor project costs and provide variance analysis to support continuous improvement. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and labor costs.
What Were Looking For:
Proven experience in cost estimating within a manufacturing or machining environment. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
