Infosys Consulting's Tech Transformation Advisory Practice seeks a Senior Consultant specializing in IT Applications for
Life Science & Healthcare . Position Overview As a Senior Consultant, you will support complex projects involving analysis, design, and implementation of IT application separation and integration, including ERP and non-ERP systems, which may be COTS or custom solutions. You will collaborate closely with clients and senior leadership to ensure successful delivery of IT infrastructure solutions. Responsibilities Strategic IT Support:
Support IT application projects aligned with business strategy and IT roadmap; develop and present strategic roadmaps focusing on standardization, efficiency, and cost savings; collaborate with IT and business leads to ensure proper governance and process design; stay updated on emerging IT application technologies.
Functional Track Management:
Support application solutions for front-office and back-office; assist in designing scalable IT solutions; support separation and integration projects; standardize business processes; support testing, data migration, and cutover activities.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
Build relationships, understand client needs, present updates and recommendations, manage project activities with stakeholders.
Team Collaboration and Development:
Ensure effective communication within teams; mentor junior staff.
Project/Program Management:
Assist in planning, budgeting, resource allocation; monitor KPIs for project success.
Thought Leadership & Practice Development:
Contribute to offerings, share insights, refine methodologies, develop tools, participate in recruiting.
Business Development and Sales:
Support proposal development, solution presentations, market research, and client relationship building.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
5+ years in IT infrastructure, operations, and security
Experience supporting complex IT projects
Consulting or client-facing experience preferred
M&A experience is a plus but not required
Understanding of functional areas (finance, supply chain, manufacturing, HR, etc.)
ERP or major application implementation experience beneficial
Application selection and implementation experience
Strong strategic and problem-solving skills; effective communication; ability to travel up to 75%
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Independent problem-solving skills
Project management skills, including client interviews, process mapping, stakeholder communication
Presentation skills and proposal support experience
Certifications like PMP, SAP, Oracle, SFDC are desirable
