ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely and efficiently deliver industrial and MRO supplies and equipment to customer job sites. Prepare truck for operation by assisting in and overseeing the loading of trucks, securing of items and verifying the accuracy of shipping papers. Ensure all loads are properly and safely secured before transport. Inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc. to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance in mind. Deliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customers' needs. Maintain communication with company during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are received. Document delivery, accuracy and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives and report any discrepancies to company. When not delivering, work with warehouse team to pull orders/transfers and have them ready to ship on pallets or boxes. Receive and check-in inventory as it arrives on-site. Ensure the purchase order matches the vendor packing slips. Wear the proper PPE at all times. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor and other branch leadership. Maintain valid driver's license and clean driving record. Maintain any other certifications, registrations as needed (TWIC Card) Maintain chauffer's license. REQUIREMENTS

Valid CDL license and TWIC card required along with a clean driving record and the ability to meet all DOT requirements. Proven reliability and strong work ethic with a willingness to do whatever is needed to assist the team in meeting customer requirements. Excellent internal and external verbal communication. Team oriented with a strong commitment to support branch goals. Ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and internal communications. Computer savvy with the ability to utilize iPad tablets to ensure correct delivery destination, verify itemized list being delivered and capture proof of delivery and ability to utilize desktop computer to use e-mail to communicate with branch team members and assist in order quote and entry process as well as verify delivery status. Operate forklift properly. Forklift certification preferred but not required. Able to routinely lift 55lb of material or equipment.
