Fairfax Ambulatory Care Clinic, Fairfax, VA
Schedule:
Part-Time-Monday-Friday Schedule will is between 7am-3:30pm EST and Saturday 7am-12noon Requirements: The job qualifications for this position are as follows: A high school diploma or GED equivalent. One year of experience as an administrative technician, in medical environment, using full range of equipment used in medical office environment Familiar with Microsoft Office applications Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook Shall be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members. Have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in the use of basic word processing, data entry, and automated records. Must be a U.S. citizen Must have either an active passport with current legal name or DMV Driver's License with REAL ID Why You Belong Here:

Perform receptionist duties and other various clerical tasks to assist staff members as necessary Will float between various departments - behavioral health, primary care and urgent care Check in/register patients and convey patients' needs between providers and nurses Answer inquiries, verify and obtain information for general public, customers, visitors and update the Data system if needed Verify patient information and make correction if needed with each request for an outpatient visit.
