Ecological Review Section Supervisor
The State of New Hampshire, Department of Environmental Services, Water Division, Land Resources Management Program has a full-time vacancy for an Ecological Review Section Supervisor. Summary: Administers the implementation of NH RSA212-A:9 and 217-A in the Ecological Review Section in the Land Resources Management Program, providing high-level biological science and regulatory expertise to ensure consistency and technical integrity in the assessment of impacts of development activities. Supervises professional staff and the issuance of requirements and recommendations to protect threatened and endangered species, the designation of habitat as critical, and exemplary natural communities from land development activities. Your Experience Counts: Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education. Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree and 4.5 years of experience OR equivalent combination of 8.5 years of education and experience after completion of high school. Education and experience must be in ecology, biology, botany, zoology, environmental science, environmental conservation, wildlife or fisheries management, environmental policy and management, or a related natural resources field. With at least two in a supervisory or management level position. License/Certification: Valid driver's license and access to transportation Other Requirements: Trainee Option: Not applicable
