Assistant Director Of Graduate Admissions
The Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions will assist the Director of Graduate Admissions with providing leadership and oversight of (a) recruitment, enrollment and retention for graduate programs on the Campbellsville Campus, online and at regional centers to align with the Strategic Enrollment Management Plans; (b) oversee data integrity in Jenzabar for graduate records; and (c) coordinate graduate admissions and enrollment policies and procedures. Qualifications: Have an exceptional commitment to Christian higher education. Master's degree in related field. Four years of recent college admissions, sales, telemarketing, and/or counseling experience are desirable. Have excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and uncomplicated manner. Have an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic personality, be a "self-starter" and "self-motivator" and maintain the highest standards of conduct, appearance, and attitude. Have the ability to work independently with minimum supervision, the willingness to travel extensively and must have time availability for evening and weekend work hours. Have excellent organizational skills, result minded, goal oriented, team player, a strong sense of initiative and proven-successful leadership skills. Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and be detail oriented. Specific Responsibilities: Plan and implement student recruitment programs and related activities assigned by the Director of Graduate Admissions. Participate actively in developing effective recruitment strategies to align with the Strategic Enrollment Management Plans and graduate initiatives. Analyze strategic and targeted recruiting needs for graduate programs. Recruit prospective graduate students at recruiting events and also contribute to the success of initiatives designed to identify, attract, admit and enroll Campbellsville University's undergraduate and certificates across the CU campuses. Assist the Director in exploring and investigating new graduate academic programs and niche markets to increase graduate student enrollment. Assist the Director to update printed marketing materials and make sure that the website is correct and updated when needed. Process new applications for Campbellsville campus, GROW YOUR OWN programs and Zijing site. Collect, scan and track transcripts, required documents and acceptance letters and collaborate with the divisional secretaries, lead professors and deans. Maintain accurate documents reflecting CU policies and procedures and adhere to all Campbellsville University policy and procedures. Assist the Director to oversee data integrity in Jenzabar for graduate records and help training employees entering graduate data. Improve coordination and productivity in the School of Education in partnership with Zijing University in China for the Montessori program. Make decisions for students that do not need to go the School of Business admissions committee for MBA, Management and Leadership, Computer Science and MSITM programs for the Campbellsville Campus students. Endeavor to develop and maintain a strong and effective working relationship between the Graduate School and the administration, deans, staff, faculty, students, and alumni of Campbellsville University to strengthen recruitment and retention programs. Provide guidance and direction and maintain quality control of assigned student workers in cooperation with the Director of Graduate Admissions. Work with federal/state/local government agencies and offices and be knowledgeable of regulations. Stay abreast of economic trends affecting Kentucky workforce. Become familiar with SACS policies and procedures. Be actively involved in those professional organizations assigned by the Director of Graduate Admissions to obtain useful information on significant developments and the latest trends and techniques in student recruitment and higher education marketing. Perform other assigned duties and take the initiative in helping other people in promoting Campbellsville University. Manage resources wisely including travel/recruitment budget. Develop positive relations with Career Services Offices and Departmental Chairs with potential schools. Develop positive relations with businesses, pastors, youth ministers, and other staff. Help organize graduate reception recruiting events for Campbellsville University bachelor's graduate for both Fall and Spring semesters. Available to participate in operational meetings, graduate council (when called upon), and other administrative staff workshops as needed. Assist the Vice President and/or Director in annual enrollment projections, data collection, and trend analysis. Promptness and attendance are necessary and play a vital role in the overall performance of this university. Perform duties as requested by Director and Vice President.
