Safety Manager
We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead our safety program for ~50 field and shop employees in the Permian Basin. This position is hands-on, field-focused, and requires strong leadership in safety compliance, training, and continuous improvement. Our particular service deals with workover rigs or sometimes called pulling units. We provide workover and plug and abandonment services to oil and gas operators. Responsibilities
Conduct monthly safety meetings and develop training material. Track and maintain employee safety certifications. Prepare and submit compliance and regulatory reports (OSHA, RRC, DOT, etc.). Perform monthly on-site rig and yard inspections. Manage fire extinguisher inspections and H2S SCBA tank/mask inspections. Purchase, track, and deliver safety supplies to field locations. Lead incident investigations and corrective actions. Act as company point of contact for auditors and inspectors. Qualifications
5+ years of HSE/safety management experience in oilfield services or related industry. Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and Texas RRC regulations. Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple field inspections simultaneously. Ability to travel locally within the Permian Basin. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
