Electrical Technician-$20-24/hr Job DescriptionThe Electrical Technician performs electrical installations on all company products and possesses the ability to troubleshoot, service, diagnose failures, and make repairs on company products.ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical installations on all company products.Troubleshoot, service, diagnose failures, and make repairs on company products.Use test equipment to solve problems in various systems and read and understand electrical schematics.Possess an advanced understanding of electrical voltage reading AC/DC, focusing on low and medium AC voltages.Prepare documentation, administer physical inspections, and complete sign-off books with QC coordination.Conduct final system checks and adapt to new situations and/or systems on the production line.Effectively test, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems, products, assemblies, and/or components.Demonstrate effective soldering skills and assist lower-level technicians with on-the-job training.Mentor and act as a role model for co-workers while working alongside them on the production floor.Provide feedback on areas that need improvement and ensure lower-level technicians understand processes.Assist with process improvements and work instructions.Inspect, identify, and make repairs and replace parts as required utilizing advanced product knowledge.Test equipment and perform regular maintenance checks on electronics.Essential Skills5+ years of electrical experience.Ability to use test equipment and read electrical schematics.Advanced understanding of electrical voltage reading AC/DC.Effective soldering skills.Leadership qualifications and experience for Level 4.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with conduit, troubleshooting, wiring, schematics, and use of hand tools.Skills in blueprint reading, assembly, production, electronics, conduit bending, and electrical assembly.Experience with termination testing, control panels, field service, installation, hydraulics, electrical wiring, and cabling.Why Work Here?Enjoy company lunches, branded t-shirts, and holiday parties. The role involves working inside and outside of trucks to complete builds.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Granbury, Texas.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
