VCA-Veterinary Emergency Service & Veterinary Specialty Center is an established 24-hour veterinary facility with three locations in Middleton, Madison, and Janesville. Our Middleton hospital is seeking an energetic, compassionate representative who is motivated by providing excellent customer service to act as a goodwill ambassador for our hospital. Knowledge and experience in veterinary medicine is highly encouraged but can be supported in training for the right individual. The best candidate should have knowledge, skills and abilities in the following areas: Excellent client service skills Excellent phone skills Computer skills preferred Must be friendly, outgoing and "people oriented" Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a team oriented environment Well groomed, organized and detail oriented Ability to take direction and handle money accurately and honestly Must possess sound decision making skills and multi-task in an environment of stress What The Role Will Look Like
This role will be a combination of customer service and client oriented tasks associated with patient care. This role acts as a liaison between clients, patients and the attending veterinarians to provide clear communication and facilitate the needs of both clients and doctors. Some of the common daily tasks include: Answering phones and making appointments Maintaining charts and computer records Financial transactions Greeting and facilitating clients needs General cleaning and maintenance Patient and financial updates Schedule
1st shift (6am-3pm) and 2nd shift (2:45p-12 midnight) are available. Both shifts require an every-other weekend commitment. Benefits
