If you have experience in Personal Lines and Small Commercial Lines and you want to work for an agency that is fun and provides excellent client service, this new role is for you. My client is a P & C agency in the rural Portland, Oregon area. This Account Manager role is 50/50% split between Personal Lines and Small Commercial Lines. You will be paid a salary and 50% of the agencys 1st year commissions on any new business lines you sell. You will be handling renewals and will be the main point of contact for your customers. You will be supported by a certificate rep which will free you up to work in a client facing role with insureds. You will work your daily task list for renewals with existing customers. Communication will be over the phone and on email. The goal is to go over the renewal questionnaire with the insured, figure out if the current risk program is adaquate for their needs, remarket if needed to obtain better rates/coverage, and handle day to day service needs for additions/changes. You will also help with claims advocacy and billing issues as needed. The agency is on EzLynx and uses an automation system to help streamline renewal commuications. There is no walk-in traffic. Hours are Mon to Fri 8:30 am to 5 pm. The agency pays 100% of your Providence Medical Insurance premium and provides an IRA with 3% match. There are no remote employees on staff. Once trained, you can work a weekly hybrid schedule if desired. It's a fun team with a great culture. Candidates need to have worked at an independent insurance agency in both Personal Lines and Small Commercial Lines as P & C licensed Account Manager.
