Cost Estimator Advanced Manufacturing
We are partnering with a U.S. manufacturer at the forefront of the semiconductor and solar energy supply chain. This organization is expanding and currently seeking an experienced Cost Estimator with a strong background in manufacturing cost analysis, preferably within the chemical, energy, or semiconductor sectors. What You Will Do: Develop and maintain detailed cost models for polysilicon production, including raw materials (e.g., metallurgical-grade silicon, trichlorosilane, hydrogen), energy consumption, labor, capital equipment, and overhead Analyze pricing trends and market data to forecast cost implications across key production stagesfrom chemical purification and crystallization to wafer fabrication and module assembly Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to validate cost assumptions and align operational budgets Support financial planning, proposals, and capital project development with accurate cost impact assessments Monitor global polysilicon pricing fluctuations and assess how market shifts affect internal cost models Leverage Sage Timberline 300 software for job costing, budget tracking, and reporting What You Bring: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field Minimum 5 years of cost estimating or cost analysis experience within a manufacturing environment Solid understanding of direct and indirect cost structures in high-volume or process-driven production Hands-on experience with Sage Timberline 300 for estimating, job costing, and financial reporting Strong Excel modeling skills; familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is a plus Background in semiconductor, chemical, energy, or high-purity materials industries is strongly preferred Why Join This Team: Be part of a critical domestic supply chain supporting clean energy and advanced technology Work alongside forward-thinking professionals and contribute to cost strategy at an operational level Competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for advancement If you are ready to grow your career in one of the most critical areas of advanced manufacturing, we want to talk to you.
