Accounting Manager Direct Hire $110-125K yrly 100% onsite We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented
Accounting Manager
to oversee accounting operations for a well-established manufacturing organization. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys leading day-to-day accounting functions while supporting process improvements and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Manage the daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions. Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, reconciling accounts and preparing journal entries. Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to ensure integrity and compliance. Partner with leadership to provide financial analysis that supports business decisions and strategic initiatives. Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and training to support professional development. Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis and performance tracking. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control practices. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
