Senior Remediation Specialist - Environmental Engineer role at Worley. Worley Consulting is Worley’s global group of consultants, scientists, engineers, and digital experts dedicated to solving the world’s critical infrastructure, environmental, energy, and resource challenges. This full-time position is based in southern California (California, USA) and focuses on contributing to the growth of the contaminated sites group, with a concentration on the oil and gas sector. The successful candidate will drive sales with local clients, manage teams in the performance of contaminated site investigations and remediation projects, and develop and implement remedial strategies leading to site closure. The role includes client meetings, proposal preparation, project execution and management, technical review, regulatory meetings, and client interface. Responsibilities

Lead business development in southern California for the oil and gas industry on behalf of the contaminated sites group and LM&R service line. Foster client relationships that support the LM&R service line strategy and growth. Support the growth of the contaminated sites group through the development of business strategies, client relationships and opportunity pursuits. Partner with other Worley business leaders and subject matter experts to align the contaminated sites group’s capabilities and expertise to opportunities and projects in the larger Worley business. Provide technical review, project execution, and serve as the technical lead for contaminated site investigation and remediation projects. Provide mentorship for junior staff. Qualifications

BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Industry-related degree or equivalent qualification. Minimum of 10 years of experience in southern California including management related to site investigations and remediation projects, including field experience and subcontractor management, in the oil and gas industry. Business development and sales experience in leading client pursuits. Experience with Phase I ESA, Phase II ESA, RI/FS, RAP, development of conceptual site models, and soil and groundwater remediation. Regulatory interface and negotiation experience. Registration as a California Professional Engineer (CA PE) or Professional Geologist (CA PG). Registration as a California Certified Hydrogeologist (CHg) is a plus but not required. Technical skills to review reports and proposals; experience presenting group capabilities to internal and external clients. Ability to foster collaboration across the LM&R service line as well as other parts of Worley. Experience contributing to project proposals and solving difficult technical problems, meeting regulatory challenges, and presenting solutions to clients and regulators. Strong communication skills to consult effectively with project staff, technical experts, and clients, ensuring project solutions align with client objectives. Additional Information
