If you're seeking career growth and new experiences, we have an opening for a Front Office Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising front desk staff as well as greeting our guests and ensuring they have a unique artistic experience. What You Will Be Doing Supervise front desk staff, reservations, and bell staff as needed, ensuring all daily functions from checklist are completed. Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel. Check guests in and out of rooms. Input and retrieve information routinely from computer system to communicate guest requests. Make appropriate selection of rooms based on guests' needs. Effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts. Respond to guest requests and questions regarding area or hotel, outlet information and services as well as handle guest issues and report complaints to management. Maintain cash handling accuracy including responsibility for House Bank. Other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
Previous supervisory and hotel, customer service, front desk or administrative experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills and communication are required. Ability to stand and move throughout the front office and continuously perform essential job functions. Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system. Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergencies. High school diploma or equivalent required.
