Snowsports Supervisor
Supervisors are responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations including, but not limited to, coaching, training, scheduling, daily assignments, management, and performance evaluations of Snowsports instructors and rovers. In this role, supervisors oversee group and private lessons, address customer concerns or complaints, and ensure a high standard of service. They are expected to maintain positive interactions with guests, colleagues, and management while fostering a collaborative environment across all SSRC departments. Supervisors should also possess the knowledge and versatility to assist fellow Snowsports supervisors as needed. Resume and cover letter required Essential Duties Manage daily operations of the Snowsports School, including scheduling, assignments, evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions for instructors. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in teamwork, communication, adaptability, dependability, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Lead and monitor on-snow and off-snow clinics. Responsible for maintaining and ensuring the delivery of the highest quality lessons, providing guests with the best possible experience. Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints with professionalism. Maintain positive interactions with guests, pros, management, and all employees. Support the Snowsports School Training Manager in administering in-house training programs and staff development. Coordinate with HQ, Ticket Office, and instructors to ensure seamless operations. Assist with clinic division and organization during lineups. Review incident reports and collaborate with the Safety Coordinator. Facilitate daily and weekly supervisor meetings and assist with preliminary on-snow operational budgets. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Serve as a consistent role model of the company's Service Excellence Standards. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications 2 years of previous work history/education required Minimum of 1 year experience at a Ski & Ride School required Supervisory experience preferred. Excellent communication skills, guest relations skills and attention to detail Technical knowledge of skiing and/or snowboarding and teaching Ability to adhere to all safety policies. Computer competency Must have valid driver's license without limitations or restrictions and meet company's insurability standards Employment for this job is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check Education Requirements Bachelor's or better preferred, will accommodate for experience. PSIA-AASI Certification, Children's Specialist and other accreditations preferred. Physical Requirements Must be minimum 18 years of age Must ski/ride on varying terrain and in harsh weather conditions all day if needed. Must assist guests/students who have fallen. Able to lift 25 lbs. (Including tables/ equipment) Working Conditions Indoor/Outdoor:
