North American Supply Chain Director / Manager Location: Reidsville, NC (Local candidates only - relocation not provided) Sponsorship: Not available Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Director or Manager to lead North American supply chain operations with a focus on On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery, inventory optimization, and cross-functional execution. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a leader capable of aligning supply chain performance with broader business objectives while managing day-to-day planning, logistics, purchasing, and customer delivery operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, customer-focused professional with a proven track record in inventory planning, team leadership, and process improvement-particularly in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities 1. OTIF Performance Management Lead the achievement of OTIF targets by identifying root causes and driving continuous improvement. Build and maintain detailed tracking and reporting tools to ensure accountability across supply chain functions. Partner with Sales and Customer Service to align planning with customer lead times and contractual expectations. Ensure timely and complete customer order fulfillment through precise coordination and execution. 2. Inventory Optimization Develop and execute inventory strategies that balance customer service levels with working capital and turnover goals. Drive adoption of best practices in safety stock calculations, reorder planning, and demand forecasting. Utilize ERP systems and data analytics (e.g., Power BI) to improve visibility, forecasting accuracy, and decision-making agility. 3. Customer-Facing Supply Chain Engagement Serve as the supply chain point of contact for key customers and participate in operational reviews. Provide clear communication and proactive resolution of lead time, order fulfillment, and service issues. Build and maintain long-term relationships with customer operations and supply chain counterparts. 4. Cost Control & Performance Analysis Monitor and analyze supply chain cost metrics related to procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline operations. 5. Team Leadership & Cross-Border Coordination Manage, develop, and support supply chain teams in both the U.S. and Mexico. Define clear roles, priorities, KPIs, and development paths for Planning, Purchasing, and Logistics staff. Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture aligned with organizational goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred). Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain roles, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership experience in managing multi-site and cross-border teams. Proficiency with ERP systems and data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI). Demonstrated success in balancing inventory, cost, and service-level priorities. Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Willingness to travel up to 35-45%, including frequent trips to Mexico and key customer sites. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience managing or supporting Mexico-based operations. Track record of leading supply chain transformations or implementing advanced planning systems.
