What You’ll Do: · Direct and manage day-to-day plant operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. · Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of operators, maintenance professionals, and support staff. · Keep production schedules on track while maintaining top-tier quality standards. · Champion safety, sustainability, and environmental practices across the plant. · Monitor KPIs, analyze performance data, and translate insights into action. · Implement process improvements to reduce waste, cut costs, and elevate productivity. · Oversee budgets and financial performance, driving accuracy in forecasting and cost control. What You Bring: · Bachelor’s degree in Paper Science, Engineering, or a related field. · 10+ years of progressive paper manufacturing experience, including 3+ years in leadership. · Expertise in papermaking processes—from fiber processing to finishing. · Proven success implementing Operational Excellence (Opex) and SOPs. · Inspiring leadership style with a track record of coaching and motivating teams. · Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships. · Sharp problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. · Solid financial acumen and experience managing budgets. · Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and sustainability. · Genuine passion for the paper industry and delivering high-quality results.
