About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of ending hunger. The successful candidate will be a passionate servant-leader with a proven track record in managing an organization of similar complexity and scope. This role is pivotal in driving the company's major fundraising campaign and requires the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with benefactors, donors, and key financial supporters. Experience in significant fundraising activities, particularly with institutional funders, is essential. The CEO will also serve as the principal spokesperson, engaging with local, state, and national legislators and officials, making experience or comfort with advocacy work a key requirement.

Applicants for the CEO position at the company should possess a deep understanding of the social factors contributing to food insecurity and a commitment to providing innovative solutions to this systemic issue. The role demands a leader with a track record of entrepreneurial problem-solving, creating and implementing best organizational and operational practices, and managing people through partnership and collaboration. A bachelor's degree is required, with a master's degree preferred, and significant experience as a senior leader, particularly in a nonprofit setting. The ideal candidate will have a background in public speaking, fund development, financial management, personnel management, strategic planning, and working with a Board. A valid driver's license, the ability to travel, and flexibility to attend meetings and events outside of regular business hours are also necessary.
