We are seeking an Epic Analyst – Cupid to support, configure, and optimize the Epic Cupid module, which is Epic’s cardiology application for invasive and non-invasive cardiology workflows. This role is responsible for building, maintaining, and troubleshooting cardiology workflows, device integrations, and reporting to support providers, technologists, and nursing staff in cardiology departments. The ideal candidate will hold Epic Cupid certification, have experience in healthcare IT or clinical cardiology operations, and strong collaboration skills to partner with physicians, nurses, and IT staff. Key Responsibilities System Build & Configuration Design, build, and maintain workflows in Epic Cupid for invasive cardiology, non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, and cath lab documentation. Support integration with devices (e.g., hemodynamic monitors, imaging systems, EKG, echo machines) and third-party cardiology systems. Configure order sets, preference lists, charge capture, and clinical documentation templates specific to cardiology. Clinical Workflow Support Partner with cardiologists, nurses, and technologists to optimize Epic workflows for inpatient and outpatient cardiology services. Support cardiology scheduling, results reporting, and integration with Epic Radiant (imaging) and Epic Orders modules. Provide subject matter expertise on cardiology operations and workflows. Testing & Upgrades Develop and execute test plans for Cupid upgrades, new features, and Epic release cycles. Participate in integrated testing (IST) and user acceptance testing (UAT). Document system builds, workflows, and troubleshooting steps. Training & Support Provide Tier 2/3 application support for Cupid users (physicians, nurses, technologists). Develop training guides, tip sheets, and materials for cardiology staff. Support go-live activities, workflow adoption, and optimization projects. Compliance & Quality Ensure Cupid workflows comply with regulatory standards (CMS, Joint Commission, HIPAA). Support data integrity for cardiology documentation and reporting. Partner with billing teams to ensure accurate charge capture for cardiology procedures. Qualifications Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Informatics, Health IT, or related field preferred. Epic Cupid certification required Additional Epic certifications (Orders, Radiant, Beacon, or ClinDoc) a plus. Experience: 2–4 years of Epic build/support experience, preferably with Epic Cupid. Clinical or technical experience in cardiology (cath lab, echo, EKG, invasive/non-invasive cardiology workflows) highly desirable. Familiarity with device integration and cardiology imaging/reporting systems. Skills: Strong understanding of cardiology operations, workflows, and device connectivity. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong collaboration skills across cardiology, IT, and other Epic application teams. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with cath lab and invasive cardiology workflows. Knowledge of cardiology imaging systems (PACS, DICOM) and integration with Epic. Experience with charge capture and revenue cycle workflows for cardiology services.
