Empower a diverse caseload of program participants by delivering comprehensive support and career guidance services, including initial enrollment and needs assessment, intensive case management, work experience facilitation, dynamic workshop delivery, and sustained job placement and retention support. Develop individualized employment plans informed by labor market data and professional insight, guiding participants through targeted training and upskilling opportunities. Ensure exceptional service delivery through precise documentation, strong employer and community partnerships, and active involvement in continuous quality improvement, all while maintaining strict program, company, and grant compliance. As a veteran or close family member of a veteran, the individual in this role brings an invaluable perspective and a deep commitment to advancing the well-being of the veteran community. This position plays a vital role in expanding access to care, supporting program growth, and strengthening outcomes for those who have served. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Participant Support: Engage participants through expert communication, delivering accurate and comprehensive information in response to inquiries, thereby establishing trusting and supportive relationships. Evaluate employment and training needs through comprehensive assessments, develop personalized action plans, and connect participants with relevant training services. Onboard individuals through the program intake process and facilitate essential support services by proactively identifying and addressing participants' diverse needs while efficiently collecting required documentation for seamless processing. Engage participants proactively through timely follow-ups, aligning with program and grant requirements to achieve individual enrollment and training objectives. Elevate participant success by diligently monitoring and evaluating progress, providing targeted guidance and coaching, and leading collaborative case conferences to resolve challenges and sustain motivation. Empower participants toward self-sufficiency by connecting them with vital resource partners and programs offering comprehensive life skills and pre-employment soft skills development, encompassing financial management, employment readiness, education, social services, legal assistance, housing, healthcare, personal hygiene, and effective coping strategies. Equip job seekers with essential skills by conducting impactful job readiness workshops, delivering personalized one-on-one coaching, and providing engaging classroom instruction on effective job-seeking strategies, compelling resume preparation, confident interviewing techniques, professional workplace etiquette, and related crucial topics. Uphold program integrity by ensuring participants understand and consistently adhere to established program and organizational policies and expectations. Case Management & Reporting: Document participant journeys by maintaining meticulously case notes, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping, expertly managing confidential electronic and paper case files, and generating insightful progress reports, efficient schedules, and precise timesheets in compliance with program and company requirements. Orchestrate training and payment processes by developing training contracts and diligently collecting participant progress reports, certificates of completion, and accurate billing reports for timely payment processing. Elevate service excellence by conducting partner, training, and customer satisfaction surveys to assess and implement quality improvements. Administrative Support: Support program outreach and engagement by assisting with key events such as recruitments, impactful job fairs, and collaborative Partner Engagement meetings. Quality Assurance: Contribute to service excellence by actively participating in quality assurance meetings and supporting the implementation of continuous quality improvement strategies. Safety & Security: Safeguard the working environment through diligent identification of hazardous conditions, timely reporting of safety incidents, and rigorously enforcing compliance standards within organizational policies and code of conduct. Adhere to all safety standards and exercise caution in all work-related activities. Education & Experience Must be a veteran of the U.S. military or spouse, parent, sibling, or child of U.S. military veteran. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 1-2 years of case management/career counseling experience. Experience working with individuals with barriers to employment.
