A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an SOX Auditor Position type: Fulltime/Contract Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid) Duration: 12 Months Hybrid Role As an SOX Auditor you will: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our SOX & Controls team as a Vice President. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of internal controls and regulatory reporting processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit to support the execution of the SOX testing program. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute assigned reviews within the SOX testing program. Coordinate and conduct walkthroughs with business partners and internal auditors. Assess the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls. Perform substantive testing for in-scope regulatory reporting schedules. Conduct annual control refreshes and document findings in high-quality work papers. Take initiative on special projects and ad-hoc assignments. Mentor and guide junior team members and contribute to broader team development. Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance control testing. Evaluate control deficiencies and coordinate remediation plans with issue owners. Build and maintain strong relationships across departments and organizational levels. Act as a trusted liaison for control owners, internal auditors, and external auditors. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree (required). Minimum of 3 years of experience in SOX testing, Internal Audit, Public Accounting Audit, or a combination of public and private accounting (preferred but not mandatory). Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
