Job Title: Commercial Journeyman Carpenters Location: Greater Cleveland, OH (occasional travel to Akron and surrounding areas) Pay: $26–$28 per hour (based on proven experience) Job Description: Power Labor is hiring skilled Commercial Journeyman Carpenters for projects across the Greater Cleveland area. We are seeking experienced carpenters who specialize in commercial drywall installation and metal stud framing. Candidates must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to perform high-quality work with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: Perform commercial drywall installation and finishing Execute metal stud framing with precision and efficiency Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans Measure, cut, and assemble materials to specifications Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment Collaborate with other trades on active job sites Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Requirements: 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience (required) Proficiency in drywall installation and metal stud framing Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and materials Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have PPE and own tools to complete assigned tasks Reliable transportation with willingness to travel to Akron and surrounding cities when needed Compensation & Benefits: Competitive pay: $26–$28/hour, based on experience Full-time work with opportunities for overtime Comprehensive and affordable benefits package 5 days PTO Paid holidays throughout the year on select holidays Referral program – earn extra by referring qualified candidates to Power Labor Why Work With Power Labor?
