We are actively seeking 2 Audit Senior Associates to serve on a variety of audit engagement teams. AND two Audit Managers at three different CPA firms.($75k to 150k Plus) The Audit Senior Associate must be able to handle more complex assignments than the Associate, begin to learn the complete process of managing all tasks regarding audit client work and take a lead role in developing/reviewing the work of less experienced staff. The Senior Associate is the bridge between the staff, who are executing the client-service-related tasks, and the management, who are strategizing and overseeing the successful completion of efficient engagement activity and top-quality client service. They offer a diversified experience in public accounting and provide employees with opportunities to grow, develop, and advance within their careers. Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Business with an accounting major CPA or current CPA candidate with 3+ years public accounting experience Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS; Knowledge of current auditing standards under Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), PCAOB, and AICPA Experience with audit software such as CCH ProSystem fx Engagement and data integration software (IDEA) is a plus Excellent communication, time management, leadership, and problem-solving skills; proven analytical thinker and capable of dealing with ambiguity Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and manage time effectively working both individually and as part of a team Be confident in directly interacting with both company management and clients Willing to travel and/or work with clients on-site as needed Responsibilities: Participate in pre-audit planning for audit engagements. This includes all aspects of internal staffing, audit planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Perform various compilation, review, agreed upon procedures, audit, and consulting engagements in a timely and professional manner Assist with the audit and review of clients’ annual and quarterly reports and SEC filings Perform special financial services and consulting projects such as financial statements preparation, cash flow projections/modeling, assist in buyer/seller merger and acquisitions. Interact with clients, meet with prospective clients, attend networking events and other firm functions Perform research on technical matters relating to client issues or audit practices Train and manage staff, interns, and admins throughout the audit process Hybrid and remote opportunities available I also have senior and partner-level openings in Chicago, Ohio, Tampa, Orlando, Ft Lauderdale, Pensacola, Florida, and Houston, TX, in case you are open to relocating.
