The Cloud Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end management of compute resources, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure to support business needs. Will be involved with not only deploying and configuring cloud infrastructure but also continuously improving our cloud environments to optimize performance, enhance security, and reduce costs. Hybrid position Duties and Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage large-scale, complex cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS and Azure Develop and implement technical strategies to achieve business objectives, ensuring considerations for performance, security, and budget constraints. Conduct architecture reviews and assessments to ensure the cloud infrastructure aligns with industry best practices and business goals. Work closely with Development, DevOps, and Security teams to optimize cloud infrastructure for application performance and security. Act as the primary point of contact for system support, troubleshooting and resolving performance, connectivity, and other technical issues in the hybrid cloud environment. Develop, implement, and manage automation scripts, infrastructure as code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines. Ensure the security of systems by implementing best practices and actively monitoring for security incidents. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends, recommending new tools and approaches as appropriate. Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including Method of Procedures (MOP), cost estimates, and deployment plans. Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards. Limit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties. Always Understand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 7+ years of hands-on experience in AWS and Azure environments as devops engineer Proven experience in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure, including Application Gateway, Containers, Kubernetes, S3 buckets, EC2, Lambda, RDS, and other cloud services using CI/CD tools. Proficiency with automation tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation AWS and/or Azure certifications preferably devops associate or professional Strong experience in networking concepts, including VPC, DNS, VPN, NAT, VNet/subnet management, and CloudWatch. Proven experience in REST API, VPC Endpoints, ECS and all flavors of database and cache services Strong scripting skills in languages like Python or ansible Familiarity with cloud security, governance, IAM policy management, and compliance Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins. GitHub Knowledge of SaaS transformation and micro-services architecture Understanding of well-architected framework for AWS and Azure Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, and other issue-tracking systems
