Associate, Business Audit w/ Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Responsible for providing independent assurance for the firm's internal control structure. Assist with planning, scoping, and execution of risk-based and regulatory required audits of business areas and processes covering the firm’s Global Banking and Markets division, including Sales, Trading, Compliance, and Operational support. Requires: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Financial Risk Management, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related business audit role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Financial Risk Management, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related business audit role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s) with: performing root cause analysis to assess the likelihood and impact of an internal control weaknesses identified during an audit; producing flowcharts to visually represent business process and business structure alongside identified key risks and controls; analyzing various trading businesses and the financial products they cover, including Mortgage, Structured Credit, Fixed Income, FX and Commodities, with a focus on evaluating their market-making activities, hedging activities, profit and loss summaries, price verification summaries, and valuation adjustment summaries; conducting market risk measurement for multi asset class portfolios including calculation of market risk exposures and sensitivities across a broad range of instruments including Commodities, Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Mortgages and Structured Credit; assessing a firm’s internal control structure in the areas of market risk management and its conformance with regulatory requirements such as CFTC and FRBNY; and analyzing global macroeconomic environment and its interconnection with execution processes and enterprise risk to assess comprehensiveness of a firm’s risk inventory.
