Facilities Ops Manager Edison- NJ- Onsite The Area Facilities and Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day facilities management and operational efficiency across multiple sites within a designated region. This role ensures all locations operate safely, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The manager will lead teams, manage vendor relationships, implement process improvements, and drive facility-related initiatives to support business continuity and growth. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the operations and maintenance of facilities across multiple locations to ensure safety, cleanliness, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely resolution of all facilities-related issues. • Manage site operations including janitorial services, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, fire safety, and security systems. • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers; negotiate service contracts and ensure performance standards are met. • Supervise and mentor facility teams across sites, including on-site facility managers, maintenance staff, and third-party vendors. • Monitor facility budgets and control costs while ensuring high-quality service delivery. • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards. • Implement sustainability practices and energy efficiency programs. • Manage space planning, renovations, relocations, and construction projects as needed. • Support emergency response planning and business continuity Key Competencies: • Strategic and operational planning • Leadership and team management • Vendor and contract management • Budgeting and cost control • Problem-solving and decision-making • Strong attention to detail and follow-through • Adaptability and time management
