Fringe Pay Rate: $7.49/hr -- PAID IN ADDITION TO THE HOURLY PAY RATE BUT SEPARATELY (like H&W rate for SCA positions) Pay Rate: $20.41/hr (plus fringe) LOCALS STRONGLY PREFERRED Per Diem: Daily local Per Diem: $50/day (for those that live 50+ miles from the site but will commute daily) (or) Lodging: $110/day (for those that live 50+ miles from the site but not within commuting distance) M&IE: $68/day (for those that live 50+ miles from the site but not within commuting distance) Location: 6700 Dustoff Road, Fort Novosel, AL 36362 Duration: Approximately 6 months Interviews REQUIRED via TEAMS Must be able to clear drug screen and background check; Must be able to obtain a "base access card" through the Navy (clean background) US Citizenship is REQUIRED COMMENTS: Journeyman Cert is REQUIRED; doesn't have to be an AL certification but they need to have one Licensed Electrician - Work involves the following: installation of a variety of electrical systems equipment and their associated control panels, overcurrent protection devices, circuit breakers, conduit systems, or other equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. • Must be willing to conduct trench work running pipe Installing major electrical systems and electrical infrastructure • Installing industrial controls infrastructure (PLC’s, MCC’s, Switchgear, Main electrical distribution infrastructure) • Read blueprints and schematics. • Document repairs and modifications. • Manage and mentor apprentice electricians. • Work with architects, contractors, and clients. • Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues. • Install indoor and outdoor electrical control, wiring and lighting systems. • Inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers. • Authorization to work in the United States • Ability to lift, carry, and push a minimum of 50 pounds, unassisted
