Team Lead, 1st Shift – Fort Lauderdale, FL The Opportunity Our client is a global equipment manufacturer who has hired us to seek out a 1st Shift Team Lead for their Fort Lauderdale, FL location. This position reports to the Area Supervisor and is responsible for coordinating daily activities of the Assembly Line team while ensuring process optimization and on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate daily activities of the Assembly Line team with the Area Supervisor Train and mentor new associates and cross-training participants Apply Lean principles to optimize processes and ensure delivery Read work instructions and train others on handling procedures Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read, speak, and write English fluently Coordinate tasks of 10-15 team members effectively Follow safety and quality procedures accurately Flexible to work overtime and other departments Preferred: Manufacturing experience in assembly operations CNC machine operation experience Check out our website at www.availasearch.com!
