Principal Engineer, System (R3-R4)

Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Principal Engineer, System (R3-R4) to drive process improvements and seek new opportunities for automation. Enforce development processes and standards. Work with SAP Max Attention and SAP Preferred Success. Submit and drive SAP incidents. Provide advanced business application programming (ABAP) procedural assistance on projects. Work closely with functional teams to understand and transform business requirements into scalable and manageable solutions. Participate in business planning sessions to identify and document integration use cases. #LI-DNI Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with driving technical architecture, upgrades, and major release activities. Experience must include a minimum of: 1 year of experience with driving process improvements and new opportunities for automation; 1 year of experience with SAP BTP Platform, SAP Fiori. SAPUl5. Web Dynpro ABAP, FRM, and Web Service; 1 year of experience with coordinating ABAP application development; 1 year of experience with developing SAP HR Forms, including customizing employee self-service and manager self-service applications; 1 year of experience with developing ABAP interfaces for Oracle-based unifier systems; and 1 year of experience with preparing technical specifications and unit test plans.
