Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing manufacturer in Raleigh who is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join their machine shop as a Manual Machinist. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to learn, and grow in a skilled trade. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering competitive benefits, working 6:30am-3pm Monday-Friday. Responsibilities: Machinist will operate manual equipment machining of components to meet dimensions and tolerances Machinist will set up and adjust equipment Machinist will work from lay outs and dimensions on drawings Requirements: Candidates must have a strong mechanical aptitude – experience with farm equipment, shop class, or junior college projects is a plus Interest in learning machining and working with manual machines Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Highly skilled in math, taking measurements Candidates must be able to read blueprints, drawings
