For immediate consideration please email me an updated resume: Frank.Galante@cloudrayinc.com I will contact you thereafter Powder Paint Spray Technician TEMP TO HIRE DRUG SCREENING AND BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED Position Overview This position is moderately labor intensive and requires the operation of HVOF spray guns in a manufacturing environment. The position is hot, dirty, and noisy. It requires attention to safety training and practices. Essential Job Functions: Operate a thermal spray gun to company standards Inspect, operate, test, & dismantle devices to diagnose & gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly. Follow written work instructions and manage workflow. Ensure that coating thickness is within specification and meets all requirements. Must be able to perform duties as assigned by your supervisor. Follow all company policies including safety instructions and training. Experience: Prior warehouse / manufacturing / construction / HVOF / thermal spray experience preferred. Experience in use of power tools, lathes, forklifts, & overhead cranes preferred. Strong knowledge of use and operation of measuring tools, particularly micrometers. Prior surface coating highly preferred. Skills: Must be a team player. Related technical training. Basic math skills needed to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Requirements Strong knowledge of use and operation of measuring tools, particularly micrometers Annual completion of respiratory safety testing and training. Annual completion hearing conservation testing and training. Must be able to work in hot and humid temperatures for up to 8 hours a day. Education: High school or equivalent Physical Demands: The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work within hot environment. This position includes use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Certain PPE is provided by the company Proper use of PPE is required. Drug-Free Workplace: All applicants must be able to pass an in-house drug screening on the first day of orientation. ATTENTION: Work environment may cause Employees to come into contact with various metal particulates such as nickel, cobalt, iron, and Tungsten Carbide.
