Job Title: Systems Engineer Job Location: Chandler Arizona 85286 Onsite Requirements: Cameo Doors Sysml Job Description: Seeking an experienced Principal Systems Engineer to support the GPI program's SEIT Technical Execution Lead Engineer to define the environmental requirements. (Environments RSE). This position will serve on-site in Chandler, AZ. Responsibilities: Responsible for working under general direction for the SEIT Technical Execution Lead to define the environmental requirements and ensure traceability from Level 4 down to Level 6 within the specification tree. Responsible for frequent interorganizational interactions to carry requirements through the design. Responsible for collaboration with senior systems engineers and other disciplines to support the development of the NGI deliverables. Basic Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 5 years of related engineering experience; or a Master's degree in STEM with 3 years of related engineering experience, or a PhD in STEM with no experience Solid foundational understanding of Systems Engineering General understanding of all design disciplines Demonstrated experience in requirements development and decomposition, validation and verification Demonstrated experience in requirements traceability DOORS or other requirements Management Experience Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical personnel Interim Secret DoD security clearance, or higher - Most work is performed in a closed area Preferred Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer: Systems Engineering experience Requirement decomposition, functional flow diagrams, Use case analysis Experience working fast paced development programs Sysml or Cameo Experience **Due to the nature of the work, a United States Government Clearance is required to be eligible for the position**
