Maintenance Supervisor - Industrial Manufacturing

An international manufacturer of industrial machinery components is searching for a motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join their team near Huntington, WV. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who also has at least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time direct-hire position that offers a competitive salary and outstanding benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k). Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities: Plan and direct routine maintenance activities, ensuring minimal equipment downtime Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facilities Oversee training of employees on routine maintenance procedures to ensure uniform quality of work Lead 5S functions in the Maintenance Department Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance activities, including purchasing, safety inspections, maintenance logs, etc. Manage inventory and ordering of spare parts and other supplies Aid in customer service initiatives Assist with safety and environmental projects Other duties as assigned Maintenance Supervisor Requirements: Proven mechanical, electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Keen technical knowledge and the ability to communicate with service vendors on detailed mechanical matters Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical charts, and other documents Strong verbal and written communication ability Ability to recognize and address maintenance needs This position works in a manufacturing and warehousing environment. While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
