DC Power Modules & PCBA Rework Technician Location: Milpitas, CA onsite Pay Range: $25 to $35 hourly DOE Position Summary In this role, you will work across the full lifecycle of designing, manufacturing, and testing DC power modules. You will contribute to circuit development, PCB layout, and rigorous hardware testing to ensure quality and reliability. A key part of your role will involve identifying and troubleshooting issues to rapidly refine our designs, making them more robust and efficient. Key Responsibilities Hardware Development & Testing Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing DC power module hardware, including circuit design and PCB layout. Understand electrical diagrams/schematics, and the functionality of the electronic components to identify issues with the components and the platform. Experiences in component and platform troubleshooting and debugging. Perform hardware testing using multimeter, oscilloscopes, and power supplies to meet quality standards. Set up and modify testing equipment; create and maintain troubleshooting documentation. Conduct audits of circuits for warranty purposes and lead root cause analyses. PCBA Rework & Assembly Perform precision PCB soldering in accordance with IPC-A-610 standards. Solder through-hole and SMT components, using microscopes where required. Maintain tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with the team to assemble boards efficiently and to high quality standards. Required Qualifications 2+ years of PCBA rework soldering experience (active within the last year). Strong foundation in electronics, with experience in circuit design, PCB layout, and electronics testing. Proficiency in using multimeter, oscilloscopes, and power supplies, and knowledge in high voltage. Ability to interpret rework instructions, work orders, and reports. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
