Job: PCBA Rework TechnicianDuration: 12 MonthsSchedule: 8-5 (or as early as 6 AM start time- for a 8 hour average day) with 1 hour non-billable luch and with flex depending business needJob Description:THIS ROLE IS COMPLETELY ONSITE AT LOCATION ON REQ (CARSON) or AT TORRANCE OFFICETop 3-5 Skills/Responsibilties:- Knowledge of PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) to this includes:oTroubleshooting circuitoInspection of PCBA per IPC 610 standardsoRemove and apply conformal coating.oCut trace, solder components, and add jumper wires per DCN.oBCPA fabricating process from making of bare board to board population.-Basic understanding of ESD and clean room requirements per ISO standards.About This Role:This person will review technical data packages (e.g. assembly instructions, engineeringdrawings, schematics, bills of material, specifications, etc.) to:•Verify and resolve product configuration issues.•Identify and assign rework actions necessary.•Conduct Product Acceptance verification for work-in-process and final approval•Log reports and findings (defects) necessary to ensure accuracy of all Qualityrecords for traceability.THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL NEED:•Minimum of 3-5 years recent relevant hands-on experience•Basic understanding of ESD and clean room requirements per ISO standards.•Familiarity with basic shop fabrication and assembly tools•Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and very tighttimelines.•Proficient with Microsoft office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,Project, Visio.•Acceptable visual acuity and eye-hand coordination•Ability to review and interpret technical data packages for electronic assemblies.•Knowledge of PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) to this includes:oTroubleshooting circuitoInspection of PCBA per IPC 610 standardsoRemove and apply conformal coating.oCut trace, solder components, and add jumper wires per DCN.oBCPA fabricating process from making of bare board to board population.Preferred Qualifications:•Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectivelywith all company departments and customers.•knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturingplanning, MRP, KanBan, and Just-in-Time (JIT).•Knowledge of mechanical drawings and Electrical schematics.•Knowledge or experience in product prototype or high-volume production buildsand working with technicians/assemblers.•Knowledge or experience in creating work instructions, rework process, anddeveloping production intent processes.•Ability to work independently and manage several challenging projectssimultaneously.•Knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.•Always maintains a positive and proactive attitude.
