ABOUT THE ROLETransform Automotive, an Amsted Automotive company in Shelby Twp, is seeking a 3rd Shift (11pm - 7am+15% shift premium) CNC Programmer, responsible for supporting the production and maintenance operations of the plant, with a focus on CNC machining support and improvements.WHAT YOU'LL DOPrimary Function SummaryAdapt and promote Lean Manufacturing principlesActive participant in the Elimination of Waste Team meetingsSupport the Company's Goals and ObjectivesCollaborate with engineering, for writing and updating operator instructionsResponsible to train team leaders on set up, repair of programs and tooling, machine troubleshooting and log accordinglyKeep work areas and equipment clean and safeRequired to investigate and implement improvement CNC machining processes in order to optimize machines capability to achieve better efficiencyResponsible for supporting the team goals of the assembly departmentAdhere to all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tag out and electrical safe work practicesResponsible for leading all Preventative Maintenance tasks, corrective actions, and equipment improvements in assembly operationResponsible for new product launches from setup to first off as coordinated with Engineering and MaintenanceServes in the capacity of waste water handler commensurate with completion of proper trainingRequired to utilize advance production readinessSupport Engineering with tool and work holding sections during APQPResponsible for replacing or repairing damaged tools or work holding for all CNC machinesWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEEDIncluding program modifications and tooling improvementsUsage of computer, printer, calculator and machinery control panelsPossess working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and Q1 compliance criteriaHigh school diploma or GEDSome college and/or technical trade manufacturing education is preferredWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUEmployee Stock Ownership PlanIncentive BonusMedical, Vison, DentalPrescription Drug Plan401kPaid Vacation & HolidaysShort-Term DisabilityTuition ReimbursementHealth & Wellness ReimbursementEmployee RecognitionDiscount Programs Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
