About the Role: As a Lead Fire Alarm Technician, you will oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems in commercial and institutional settings. You'll lead a team of technicians, ensuring that all fire alarm systems are installed according to code and function flawlessly to protect lives and property.
Key Responsibilities: •Lead and supervise a team in the installation, testing, and servicing of fire alarm systems, including panels, detectors, and associated hardware. •Ensure all fire alarm installations comply with local, state, and national fire codes and standards (e.g., NFPA 72). •Program and configure fire alarm panels, ensuring proper integration with other building systems. •Perform troubleshooting and repairs on fire alarm systems to maintain optimal performance. •Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades to ensure timely project completion. •Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians, focusing on safety standards and technical skills. •Maintain detailed records of installations, inspections, and service activities.

Background Profile: •5+ years of experience in fire alarm installation, service, and repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. •Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, including panels, detectors, and NFPA 72 standards. •Experience with fire alarm panel programming and configuration. •FAL (Fire Alarm License) is preferred; NICET certification is a plus. •Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. •A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. •Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
