AtkinsRalis is seeking a Roads & Highways Civil Engineer Intern - Summer 2026 to join our Denver, Colorado office.

Our Internship Program,
Explore,
is designed for college students pursuing a degree in a STEM field and provides opportunities to learn what it's like to work in a professional environment and apply what's learned in class to the real-world challenges we face every day.
RESPONSIBILITIES Provide administrative and operations support to Roads & Highways Engineering staff Collaborate with engineers on Roadway plan production tasks Performs simple drafting and CAD assignments following detailed instructions Assist in the compilation of design data and the preparation of construction plans QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE:
No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
EDUCATION:
Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2026).
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer (preferred) Demonstrate strong communication skills including active listening Willingness to ask questions

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
