Campus Minister- High School Notre Dame Preparatory, a Marist sponsored school, is seeking a Catholic Campus Minister to join our Campus Ministry team working primarily with high school grades 9-12. Join a Campus Ministry team that listens to and responds to the spiritual and stewardship growth needs throughout the NDP community, shepherding its members toward transformational discipleship infused by the Marist Charism.Seeking applicants who are active members of the Roman Catholic faith with a B.A. or M.A. in religious studies, theology, youth ministry, or related field (preferred) with experience in:Essential functions Provide a visible presence on campus focusing on the high school, offering pastoral support and fostering and igniting the faith community to be rooted in a Christ-centered identity and in missionary discipleship for students, staff and families. Establishes and fosters a vibrant Peer Ministry. Empower the spiritual growth and Christian leadership of student peer ministers and mentors in their ministerial roles and personal faith. Coordinate liturgy and other sacramental experiences; preparation of readings and needs of presider; as well as training community for liturgical roles. Designs and implements prayer services and experiences, faith sharing, and scripture studies accessible to all that seek to speak to the heart and unite one closer to God. Coauthors and facilitate daytime and overnight youth and adult retreats and leadership summits. Co-facilitator for all Kairos retreats. Oversees Peer Mentor Program. Partners with and identifies the needs of local service organizations to integrate Advocacy and Stewardship and into the curriculum, extracurriculars, and family life, empowering all to become instruments of divine mercy in the world. Recruits, trains and manages youth and adult volunteers. Collaborates and resources school leadership and staff to support goals and deepen our Catholic mission. Takes part in networking with other Marist sponsored schools and institutions, local Catholic schools, and nonprofit service organizations to resource opportunities for collaboration, leadership, outreach, or immersion experiences. Meets regularly with the Campus Ministry team and adapts to changing Campus Ministry responsibilities as needs arise for the NDP community.
