Total Fire and Security is seeking an individual to join our team as a Fire Alarm Service Technician. This position offers competitive compensation with an excellent benefits package. Responsibilities:
Test, service and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, card access, and intrusion systems in accordance with applicable NFPA and NEC codes with working knowledge of system controls, alarm panels, devices, and components. Understanding of system schematics and wiring diagrams. Troubleshoot and repair deficiencies. Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner. Proper use and operation of tools required to complete the appointment. Complete service calls and/or inspections as scheduled in a timely manner. On-call rotation with other technicians to handle emergency service. Ensure company provided vehicle is clean and well maintained as required by company policies. Ensure that all assigned tools are safeguarded and maintained. Qualifications:
Hight School Diploma or equivalent required. NICET II and/or state required certification required (FAST). Denver License & Alarm CSA Exam Minimum 2 years experience inspecting, servicing and/or installing fire alarm systems required. 2 years experience with Intrusion, CCTV, Card Access preferred Must be able to work alone and as part of a team. Must have mechanical aptitude. Ability to operate a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required. Job Type:

$30.00 - $42.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift - Monday to Friday
