Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Location: Belcourt, ND Duration: 12-month contract (with option for extensions) Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday Friday (8:00 AM 4:30 PM), with potential on-call or extended hours Qualifications: Education: Master's degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Certification: Active national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC). Licensure: Valid, unrestricted RN and NP license in any U.S. state or territory. Experience: Minimum of 1 year full-time experience as an FNP (within the last 3 years) in a primary care setting. Certifications Required: (BLS) (ACLS) (PALS) Other: U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass federal background check. Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments, including history, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results. Prescribe medications, treatments, and preventive care measures in accordance with IHS and federal guidelines. Manage chronic and acute illnesses, ensuring continuity of care. Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment plans. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and performance improvement activities. Provide coverage in urgent care or emergency situations as needed.
