Position Title: Warehouse Associate (Part-Time)
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Overview
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for safe, accurate, and efficient supply chain operations, ensuring that products are received, stored, and dispatched promptly. This includes filling customer orders on time, creating player and custom jerseys using the heat press, and maintaining accurate inventories of all items within the warehouse. The role supports the transition to a new warehouse space in Downtown Sacramento and helps optimize space across multiple locations in West Sacramento.
Responsibilities
- Unload goods from trucks or shipping containers, verify contents against packing slips, and report discrepancies.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels and identify discrepancies.
- Pick and pack products for customer orders within specified timeframes to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare shipping documents, such as labels and packing slips, and ensure orders are dispatched to the correct destination.
- Inspect goods for defects or damage and return defective items to suppliers as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, barcode scanners); perform routine maintenance checks.
- Handle customer inquiries related to shipments, tracking orders, and resolve order fulfillment issues professionally and promptly.
- Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
- Utilize heat press equipment to create player and custom jerseys according to customer specifications.
- Assist in relocating to the new warehouse, including setting up equipment and organizing inventory.
- Provide input to optimize warehouse processes and layouts for increased efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and address issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to move heavy objects safely, lift, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
Required Availability / Work Schedule
- Monday - Wednesday
- 24 hours per week, 8 hours per day
Compensation
- $17.00/hr
