Responsibilities

  • Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock.
  • Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock.
  • Scanning items into the warehouse management system.
  • Inspecting stock for damages and keeping records of damages.
  • Organizing the warehouse space.
  • Preparing orders for shipment.
  • Picking orders for shipment.
  • Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
  • Operating stock management tools, such as powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks.
  • Counting stock and maintaining inventory records.
  • Routine cleaning duties.
  • Interfacing with management to ensure key objectives are realized.
  • Maintaining safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
  • Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 100 lbs.
  • Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach.
  • Occasionally sit and climb (ladders and stairs) or balance.
  • May be subject to environmental conditions; protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
  • May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Attention to detail, good communication, and time management skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and with other staff and supervisors.
  • Open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and overtime.
  • 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse and commitment to workplace safety.
