Warehouse Associate Job at IES Residential in San Antonio

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily operations at our San Antonio, TX facility. This position is responsible for a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving shipments, organizing inventory, preparing orders, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced setting and performing physical tasks throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries to verify accuracy and condition of items.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately for customer delivery or transfer.
• Stock materials in designated areas and maintain organized inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
• Frequently mount and dismount forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness by removing trash, sweeping, and organizing materials.
• Prepare shipping labels and documentation for outbound orders.
• Ensure products are properly labeled and stored according to company standards.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency required.
• 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to pass all required safety training, background checks, and drug screening.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. regularly, and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, and standing for long periods.
• Forklift certification a plus (training available if not certified).
• Self-motivated, punctual, and dependable with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in varying warehouse conditions (heat, cold, noise).
