Neurotech Pharmaceuticals is an innovative biopharmaceutical company located in Cumberland, RI, with Commercial office in Needham, MA within the realm of Greater Boston’s vast biotechnology landscape. Since our inception more than 20 years ago, we have been developing a proprietary biological drug device combination technology for treatment of a variety of retinal disorders. Our most advanced program is developing a treatment for the orphan disease Macular Telangiectasia Type 2 (MacTel). Our Encapsulated Cell Technology (ECT) platform is designed to deliver a genetically modified neuroprotective factor to slow the progression of this chronic retinal disease.

Neurotech is seeking a Warehouse Associate who will be responsible for tasks involving picking, storage, receiving and shipping both GMP and Non-GMP goods. The position involves performing and documenting daily warehouse operations in a cGMP environment, while maintaining high level of attention to detail and good communication practices.

This is an onsite role in Cumberland, RI. This is not a hybrid or remote opportunity.

Job Requirements

  • Receive, inspect and store incoming materials.
  • Support CGMP operations with labeling, kitting and returns processing.
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy is maintained in ERP system (SAP).
  • Collaborate with all departments as required to ensure efficient flow of materials throughout the facility. supporting clinical and commercial shipments.
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization and compliance with GMP and safety standards.
  • Maintain documentation of all activities in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Cleanroom garments and personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required in designated areas.
  • Work closely with Quality team to support clinical and commercial product shipments, including coordination with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma is required; AA degree preferred
  • 3+ years working in CGMP logistics, warehouse, or supply chain roles within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in clinical and commercial shipping including temperature controlled logistics
  • ERP system knowledge (SAP)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient in MS office applications with experience in SOP editing

  • Strong ownership, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective time management; able to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Physical Requirements:
    • Physically capable of sitting, standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and lifting (10 lbs continuously, up to 50 lbs occasionally)
    • Comfortable with occasional ladder usage.
