Shepherd Electric Supply is hiring: Warehouse Associate in Richmond

Overview

Receive, store, select, pack, and distribute warehouse inventory. This role may include delivery duties as needed.

Typical Functions

• Perform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse.
• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment in accordance with its intended purpose and the manufacturers’ instructions.
• Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state; follow all company safety procedures; perform daily safety inspections.
• Unload delivery vehicles, accurately identify material, break down material, and note discrepancies.
• Accurately store product to the proper location following the outlined process; light equipment may be required.
• Select and pack customer orders following the outlined process; ensure conformance to customer standards and expectations.
• May perform delivery driver duties as needed; operate a light van or delivery vehicle to deliver customer orders and meet customer expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Work Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 7:00pm

Compensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $20.00 per hour depending on experience.

Additional Information

• Steel toed boots required.
