THE POSITION

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for pulling, packing, and preparing orders for delivery or shipment. They handle shipping and receiving functions and work with parcels, collaborating with the Post Sales Department and Customer Support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
  • Process product sales requests for client delivery, verifying invoices or tickets.
  • Sort and organize items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to company standards.
  • Support inventory control through cyclical inventories and physical counts as per company procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallets, and workstations tidy; sweeping, dusting, and mopping regularly.
  • Wear appropriate safety equipment at all times.
  • Organize and maintain shipping and receiving logs.
  • Handle, load, and unload freight using manual and motorized equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Perform additional shipping/receiving duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 100% bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Forklift operator experience and certification (license) are required.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Strong communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 80 lbs regularly and occasionally over 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The position is based in a traditional warehouse setting with exposure to dust, dirt, and noise. Activities include extended periods of standing or sitting and extensive work at a computer or loading dock.
