About This Role
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for administrative tasks that support Developmental Services management team in adhering to contractual and regulatory requirements.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for administrative assignments including tasks related to hiring, training, scheduling, and compliance tracking.
- Provides administrative assistance and works collaboratively with management, employees, and other departments to complete the administrative needs of the programs.
- Attends meetings and provides relevant updates.
- Maintains professional relationships and practices good customer service with BHN employees, potential employees, and other organizations and agencies.
- Coordinates and schedules meetings and interviews.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assists program with administrative & office tasks including scanning, filing, answering telephones, client reception, creating of reports, data entry, and special projects as needed.
- Understands and is responsible for compliance on all record keeping requirements as determined by Federal and State Laws and funding sources.
- Develops and maintains working knowledge of and ability to reference DDS regulation and BHN policy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Two years’ experience in human services preferred.
- Demonstrates flexibility and cooperative attitude when requested to perform additional duties.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain consistent attention to detail in completion of tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
