Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Analyst, Supply Chain Data Warehouse Analyst. In this role, the successful candidate will enhance the integrity, accessibility, and strategic value of supply chain data across the enterprise. The role is pivotal in designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, developing actionable insights, increasing automation and sustainability, and supporting enterprise-wide decision-making. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, fluent in SQL and Python, and understands operational and technical data impacts.
Job Responsibilities
- Apply data management best practices to ensure data integrity, process quality, and timely delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into analytical requirements through close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Conduct root cause analyses on data anomalies or operational issues.
- Validate inputs from diverse source systems (e.g., Oracle, ParEx, GHX, Epic, etc).
- Design, build, and optimize ETL processes, data solutions (e.g. machine learning models), and user-facing solutions for structured and unstructured data.
- Contribute to the Supply Chain Data Warehouse design and strategic planning.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, supply chain, engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data management, data warehousing, or related roles.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Strong Excel, Tableau, and AI skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to develop, manage, optimize, and interpret large datasets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with inventory management systems, Epic, PeopleSoft, and/or cloud-based data platforms like Databricks.
- Experience with machine learning.
- Experience working in a healthcare supply chain or hospital setting.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $80,000.00 - $97,000.00 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
