Job Summary The position will guide the development of medical devices through new product introduction from concept to realization. This person will lead collaborative, multifunctional teams consisting of internal R&D personnel, quality, regulatory, manufacturing and external OEM customer personnel. In the role, you will serve as a subject matter expert on all phases of product development and is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of projects spanning multiple priorities and functional areas. As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in guiding teams and initiatives from early concepts through successful launch, ensuring alignment between vision and execution. From start to finish, you’ll lead projects that improve productivity, strengthen profitability, and support growth in the medical device space. Beyond managing timelines, you will analyze processes, identify opportunities, and implement meaningful improvements that advance how we operate. Your expertise will help deliver results that contribute to the future of healthcare and the Operating Room.Job Description Lead various scale projects from concept to realization involving individuals from multiple departments and disciplines. Manage assigned projects, balance corporate priorities, and ensure team alignment across functional areas to ensure that project deadlines and goals are met. Develop, communicate, and track project plans, objectives, budgets, scope, timelines, and projected end dates. Translate project goals into project tasks. Conduct risk assessments to identify issues that may cause project delays or cost overruns and develop contingency plans to mitigate the impact. Compile risk profiles associated with scope creep and changing project requirements. Apply functional knowledge to the design and customization of workflow systems that provide seamless integration. Subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures. Maintain team morale and engagement by ensuring constant and transparent communication. Be aware of industry standards and understanding of cost benefit analysis to justify tasks/projects. Provide specialized expertise to the company through project, account and people management. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Education Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline. Additional At least 4 years engineering experience. Technical writing, research paper writing, and/or experimental design experience. ERP systems knowledge and experience. Intermediate skill level in computer and systems use (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). The anticipated salary range for this position: $87,360.00 - $131,040.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold. Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
